Error code
(SSB2)
A pair cannot be created because the specified primary system is one of the following:
CBD8
•
A journal volume used for Cnt Ac-J.
•
A Cnt Ac-J secondary volume that is in a status other than Suspend.
The Paircreate operation cannot run because the used capacity of the Data Retention on the secondary
system exceeds the license capacity.
CBDA
A request for a Paircreate operation was received in the Cnt Ac-S-Cnt Ac-J combination status. However,
the command was rejected because the Mirror ID of Cnt Ac-J was 0.
CBDC
In configuring a Cnt Ac-S-Cnt Ac-J multi-target configuration, a request for a Cnt Ac-S Paircreate operation
was rejected because the Cnt Ac-J pair was in the process of copying.
CBDD
The Paircreate operation cannot run because the P-VOL is used by Fast Snap or Snapshot.
CBDE
The Paircreate operation cannot run because the S-VOL is used by Fast Snap or Snapshot.
CBDF
The Paircreate operation cannot run because the P-VOL is a Fast Snap or Snapshot virtual volume.
CBE0
The Paircreate operation cannot run because the S-VOL is a Fast Snap or Snapshot virtual volume.
CBE1
The Paircreate operation cannot run because the P-VOL is a Thin Provisioning, Fast Snap, or Snapshot
Pool-VOL.

The Paircreate operation cannot run because the S-VOL is a Thin Provisioning, Fast Snap, or Snapshot
Pool-VOL.

More than 65,280 pairs cannot be created in one storage system.

The pair cannot be created because the specified P-VOL is being shredded by Volume Shredder.
CBEB
The pair cannot be created because the specified S-VOL is being shredded by Volume Shredder.
CBEC
The Paircreate operation cannot run because of one of the following reasons:
CBED

The specified S-VOL is the volume for a Cnt Ac-J S-VOL.
•
The specified S-VOL is the volume for a Cnt Ac-J journal volume.
•
An attempt was made to create the 2DC or 3DC configuration using the specified S-VOL, but a storage
system that does not support 2DC or 3DC is included in the configuration.
The pair was not created because the specified P-VOL is part of a Cnt Ac-J pair for delta resync.
CBEE
The pair cannot be created because the volume specified as the P-VOL is used as an external volume for
nondisruptive migration and Cache Through is set as the cache mode.
CBF3
The pair cannot be created because the S-VOL is used as the external volume mapped for online data
migration.
CBF4
An attempt was made to create the 2DC or 3DC configuration using the specified P-VOL, but the Paircreate
operation cannot run because a storage system that does not support the 2DC or 3DC configuration is
included.
CBF7
The pair cannot created because the model or the microcode version of the primary or secondary system is
not supported.
CBF8
The pair cannot be created because the consistency group number is not within the supported range.
CBFC
The pair cannot be created because the remote path is not valid.
CBFF
The pair cannot be created because no virtual LDEV ID is specified for the volume specified as the S-VOL.
FD01
The pair cannot be created because no virtual LDEV ID is specified for the volume specified as the P-VOL.
FD02
The pair cannot be created because the specified virtual information does not match the virtual information
registered in the remote storage system.
FD03
The specified remote storage system does not support global virtualization.
