Property

The current status of the DPM group. Possible values:

Present—For both DPMs in the DPM group, the fabric agent is polling to the
VSM server through all back-end HBAs, as expected. The VSM server and the
fabric agent are communicating properly.

Degraded—One of the DPMs in the DPM group is present, and one DPM is
absent or has failed.

Failed— For both DPMs in the DPM group, polling of the fabric agent to the
VSM server has stopped. The VSM server and the DPMs are not communicating.

Partial—The DPM group only has one member, or else both members report
the same rank.

Absent— Both DPMs in the DPM group are no longer visible on the fabric.

Status

The states of the DPM group members. Possible values:

Normal— Both DPMs in the DPM group are in a normal operational state.

Delete—The DPM group is being deleted.

State

The identifier for the DPM group. This value is 16 bytes, the first eight bytes con-
sisting of the WWNN for the DPMs in the group, and the last eight bytes consisting
of zeros.

DPM Group ID

The DPM group has objects that have failed over to their secondary DPMs within
the DPM group.

Has Failed Over Objects

A free text field. To enter text into this field, right-click the DPM group row in the
List area and select Manage > Edit Comment.

Comment

The time at which the DPM group was created.

Creation Time

The user who created the DPM group.

Created By

The time at which the DPM group was last modified.

Modification Time

The user who last modified the DPM group.

Viewing DPM group information

You can display detailed information related to each DPM group in the tabs area below the DPM
groups list.

To view information related to a DPM group:

In the DPM groups list, select a DPM group. The following tabs are displayed in the tabs area below
the DPM groups list:

Properties — Provides the same general information about the selected DPM group as described
in

Table 81

.

DPM—Displays the DPMs in the selected DPM group.

Host—Displays the hosts that are recognized by the DPM group.

Virtual Disk—Displays the storage elements, including virtual disks, that the DPM group is
presenting to hosts.

Security—Displays the access permissions of users and user groups for the selected DPM group.

Disabled Operations—Shows which operations you cannot currently perform on the selected DPM
group and the reason for each. See the release notes for a current list of disabled operations.
