Lighting

The lighting installation consists of 20 W halogen bulbs.

In order to change a broken bulb, one must:

a) lever the ring holding the glass of the halogen lamp

(in three points) using a flat tool or a screwdriver and take the

bulb out while holding the ring,

b) change the bulb, holding it with a cloth or a piece of paper,

c) reinstall the ring and the glass by doing things in the reverse order.

Note: Make sure that you do not touch the halogen bulb to be

installed with your bare fingers!

Fat filter (quantity dependent on the type of the ventilation hood)

1. Cleaning.

Fat filters should be cleaned once every two

months when the hood works in normal

amounts, using a gentle detergent or liquid soap.

Not cleaning the filter increases the risk of a fire.

2. Disassembly.

Filters can be disassembled by:

a) releasing the snap fastener of the filter lock,

b) taking out the metal fat filter.

Active carbon filter (not supplied)

An active carbon filter is used only when the

ventilation hood cannot be used to exhaust air

from the room (there is no proper ventilation duct

in the room).

A filter filled with active carbon is capable

of absorbing scents until it is saturated. It cannot

be washed or regenerated and must be replaced

once every 3 months.

In order to change the filter, one must:

a) release the snap fasteners of the fat filter/-s and take out the filter/-s,

b) unscrew the screws that fix the active carbon filter to the internal frame,

c) take off the rods holding the active carbon filter, take out the filter and put in a new

one,

d) fix the active carbon filter to the frame again,

e) re-install the fat filter/-s.
