Setting the ventilation hood in the scent absorber mode

In this mode, air filtered through the active carbon filter returns to the room by the

oblong openings of the cleaned air outlet located on the upper masking element.

If the ventilation hood is to be used in this mode, it is necessary to purchase and

install an active carbon filter.

INSTALLATION

1. Fix the wall section of the ventilation hood to the wall, using fixing pins and screws

from the installation packet, at a height so that the suspended ventilation hood in on

the level of 650-750 mm over the top of the stove.

2. Remove the fat filter of the ventilation hood (the number of filters

depends on the type of the hood) by unfastening the snap fastener.

3. The hood must be placed with its installation opening in the back

against the wall over the installed wall section so that the upper edge of

the opening slides into the wall section (see the drawing beside).
4. The ventilation hood should then be leveled using a hand level and, if necessary,

its position should be corrected by screwing in or out of the leveling screws located

on the body of the hood over the installation opening. After the ventilation hood is

leveled, a securing screw should be screwed in in the middle of the wall section.

5. At the required height, in the ventilation hood axis of symmetry, install the grip of

the chimney masking element along with the air guide.
