Step 3: Registering a user
Register a user according to the procedures below.

On the Start screen, click at the lower-left edge.

Select Manage Security Platform → User Settings.

When the initialization wizard appears, select an initialization
method
→ a drive → Next.
• Back up the emergency recovery file to an external
storage device according to the instructions of the
initialization wizard to use the TPM security device more
safely.
• If Not initialized pop-up message appears, select Yes.
Step 2: Installing the TPM solution
Install the TPM solution according to the procedures below.
This solution is provided only for models with Recovery
and the TPM solution.

Run Recovery and select System Software.

Select System Software Installation.

Select TPM Host SW → Install Now.
The SW Update application will be launched.
If the system software media is supplied with the product,
install the application by using the system software media
(only when supplied.)

After the installation, select OK.
The computer restarts.
