Language and Input
Use this menu to configure the language in which to display
the menus. You can also set onscreen keyboard options.
Ⅲ From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔
Settings
➔ Language and input.
Language
You can change the language used by your device by
following these steps:
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings
➔ Language and input ➔ Language.
2. Touch a language from the list.
Personal Dictionary
Create and manage a list of words for use in text entry, for
matching your key touches with words.
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings
➔ Language and input ➔ Personal dictionary.
2. Manage your word list:
• Select Add to enter new words.
• Touch a word to Edit the word.
• Touch a word and touch Delete to delete it.
Keyboards and Input Methods
You can change the keyboard used by your device by
following these steps:
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings
➔ Language and input.
2. Touch Default and select a keyboard.
Select Samsung keyboard or Swype.
3. Touch Set up input methods.
4. Touch Settings next to the input method that you
would like to configure.
5. Based on your selection of input method, the
appropriate settings display and are explained below.
