Viewing New Messages
When you receive a new message, the new message
icon will appear at the top of your screen.
1. Drag your finger down from the Status Bar to display
the Notification Panel and select the message.

Touch Messaging , and then then touch the new
message to view it.
2. The selected message appears in the display.
• To play a multimedia message, touch . To pause
playback of the multimedia message, touch .
• To scroll through the message (if additional slides or
text pages have been added), touch the screen and in a
single motion, scroll up or down the page.
Message Threads
Messages you send and receive are grouped into
conversations, or “threads”. Threads allow you to see all
messages to and from the same number together. Threads
display in the order they were received, with the latest at the
top.
To access conversation options:
Ⅲ From the main Messaging screen, touch and hold a
thread to display the following options:
• Delete: Delete the selected thread.
• Save messages: Save the thread to the saved
messages folder.
• View contact: Display the contact (if the number is
saved to a contact).
• Add to contacts: Add the number to Contacts (if the
number is not already saved to a contact).
