Section 6: Securing Your Device
This section outlines how to enable security features for your
device.
Security
Select the security tab to set your security parameter.
Set Administration Password
This password is used to protect the configuration settings on
this device. You must provide the password in order to connect to
this Web-based administration interface. This screen allows you
to change the password.
Enter the new password, using only letters, numbers, and
standard punctuation symbols. The password must be at least 4
characters long. The maximum length is 64 characters.
• Current Password: Enter the current password used to access the
administration interface.
• New Password: Enter the new password you would like to used to
access the administration interface.
• Verify New Password: Re-enter the new password to verify and click
or touch Apply.
Set Pin Lock Status
• PIN Lock enable: When enabled, enter your PIN lock code each time
you log into the Web-based administration interface.
