The Address Book

The Address Book

The Address Book is a personal directory of contacts from which you can
make a phone call.You can access the Address Book while on a call and
start a new call from the highlighted contact. You can use the Address
Book for the following:

“Viewing the Address Book” on page 107

“Initiating a call from the Address Book” on page 107

“Adding a contact to your Address Book” on page 109

“Editing a contact in your Address Book” on page 110

“Copying information to the Address Book” on page 114

“Searching for a contact in the Address Book” on page 116

Viewing the Address Book

To access the Address Book, press the

Directory

fixed key or press the

View

context-sensitive soft key, and then select

Address Book

from the

menu. See

Figure on page 107

.

To view information about a contact use the navigation button to highlight
a name, and then press the

View

context-sensitive soft key. The name,

SIP address, and designation of contact or not as Friend appears.

When you view the details of a contact, you can:

Edit the contact information. For more information, see

.

Initiating a call from the Address Book

You can initiate a call directly from your IP Deskphone Address Book.

Note: If your service provider requires that a Directory Number (DN)
be used to initiate a call, the Address Book entry must have the DN to
initiate a call.
