Connecting the components
Figure 3 on page 37 shows the connections on the Avaya 1200 Series IP
Deskphones.
CAUTION
Damage to Equipment
Consult your system administrator to
ensure that you plug your IP Deskphone
into a 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet jack.
To prevent severe damage to your IP
Deskphone, do not plug your Avaya 1200
Series IP Deskphone into a regular phone
jack.

Your Avaya 1200 Series IP Deskphone is
designed for use in an indoor environment
only.
