What is pairing?

compatible device, the device must be identified. This process

is referred to as pairing which is necessary to prevent access from unauthorized
Bluetooth

compatible devices. A common Passkey is used to pair the device with

this Bluetooth

Module.

Setting the connection method/Performing pairing

You need to set the communication method and perform pairing for
Bluetooth

®

communications.

Rotate the Jog Dial™ navigator to select

(Prefs) on the

CLIE 3D Launcher and press the Jog Dial™ navigator.

The

Preferences

screen is displayed.

Tip

You can also tap

(Prefs) to display the

Preferences

screen.

at the top right of the screen, and select [Connection].
