• You cannot transfer applications that you installed. You need to reinstall them to your
CLIÉ handheld.
• Some third party applications may operate only on your old CLIÉ handheld. For
details, contact the application manufacturer.
Transferring data using Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ
For data of the basic Palm OS
®
applications such as
Date Book,

To Do List

Memo Pad
, you can use
Palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ
to
transfer data from your old CLIÉ handheld to your new CLIÉ handheld, by
exporting and importing data.
Note
To transfer data from your old CLIÉ handheld to your new CLIÉ handheld, use the
palm™ Desktop for CLIÉ supplied with your new CLIÉ handheld, and perform the
HotSync operation with your old CLIÉ handheld. And in this case, it requires that the
user names of both your CLIÉ handheld is not the same.
