Confirming Added Memory Capacity
To check the amount of memory on your computer
1. Restart the computer.
2. Click Start on the Windows ® taskbar, and click Control Panel.
3. Click Performance and Maintenance, and click System. The System Properties window appears.
4. On the General tab, you can view the amount of system memory. If the additional memory is not shown, remove
and reinstall the memory module.
The amount of memory displayed is not always correct. The video adapter may use some system memory, and that
amount of memory does not appear as part of the total memory shown.
