Turn on the amplifier and set the source selector to the position
for this deck.

Press 1/u.
The STANDBY indicator turns off.

Press § OPEN/CLOSE to insert a CD. Press the button again
to close the CD tray.
When you play an 8-cm CD, place it on the inner circle of the
tray.

With the label side up

Press ·.
The deck starts playing. Adjust the volume on the amplifier.

To

Do the following:

Connect the headphones.

Adjust the headphone volume.

When using the controls on the
deck

Use the CD player controls located
to the left of the front panel.

When using the remote Z

Set SELECT to CD.

Audio output

Output switches automatically to
the audio of the CD.

You can start playing with
the track selected in step 4

1 Turn AMS (or press = or

+) to select the track you
want to play using the
display*.

2 Press AMS or ·.

page 12.

Stop playing

Press p.

Pause playing

Press P. Press the button again or press · to
resume playing.

Go to the next track

Turn AMS clockwise (or press + on the
remote).

Go to the beginning of the
current track or the
preceding track

Turn AMS counterclockwise (or press = on the
remote).

Take out the CD

Press § OPEN/CLOSE after stopping playing.
