ABOUT THE TEMPERATURE
CONTROLS
To run your refrigerator:
• Connect the power supply�
• Select the temperature control�
• To adjust the temperature of your refrigerator in
accordance with the amount of your food and climate
of your city� The temperature controls are preset in the
factory at 3˚C (37˚F) for the refrigerator compartment
and -18˚C (0˚F) for the freezer compartment�
Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize to the preset
recommended settings.
Refrigerator temperatures can be adjusted between 1˚C and
7˚C (34˚F to 44˚F), and the freezer temperatures can be
adjusted between -21˚C and -14˚C (-6˚F to 6˚F)�
Note: The refrigerator is shipped with protective film
covering the temperature controls. If this film was not removed
during installation, remove it now.
To change the Refrigerator room temperature:
To adjust the Actual Temp Control temperature, first press
the Freezer (Temperature) or Refrigerator (Temperature)
button� Then press WARMER (+) or COLDER (-) to
increase or decrease temperature to the desired setting�
Once the desired temperature has been set, the temperature
display will return to the actual refrigerator and freezer
temperatures after 5 seconds�
Several adjustments may be required� Each time you adjust
the control, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach the
temperature you have set� The temperature controls can
display both the SET temperature as well as the actual
temperature in the refrigerator and freezer� The actual
temperature may vary slightly from the temperature based
on usage and operating environment�
Turning the cooling system off
Setting either or both controls to 0 stops cooling in both
the freezer and refrigerator compartments, but does not
shut off electrical power to the refrigerator�
When the unit is turned back on, it will take up to 24 hours
to stabilize�
Ambient Temperature Limits
This refrigerator is designed to operate in ambient
temperatures specified by its Temperature Class, which is
marked on the next tables�
Note: Internal temperature may be affected by such factors as the
location of the refrigerator, ambient temperature and frequency
of door openings. Adjust temperature controls as required to
compensate for these factors.

No frost models
The models are completely automatic and require no user
intervention to thaw it� The refrigerator is automatically
thawed�
Defrost process
During the defrost process, the frost, mainly because
of door openings and moisture removed from food, is
eliminated� This refrigerator never should have ice on
the freezer because that would imply a problem in the
apparatus�
