Selecting discs from the disc title list

Disc title list lets you see the list of disc titles
that have been entered into the multi-CD
player and select one of them to play back.
! You can also perform the following opera-

tions by using the joystick.

Press FUNCTION to select TITLE LIST.

Press c or d to select a disc from the

disc title list.

# If no title has been entered for a disc,
NO D-TITLE will be displayed.

Press a to play your favorite CD title.

That selection will begin to play.

Using CD TEXT functions

You can use these functions only with a CD
TEXT compatible multi-CD player.
The operation is the same as that of the built-
in DVD player.
Refer to Displaying text information on disc on
page 37.

TV tuner

Basic Operations

You can use this unit to control a TV tuner,
which is sold separately.
For details concerning operation, refer to the
TV tuner

’s operation manual. This section pro-

vides information on TV operations with this
unit which differs from that described in the
TV tuner

’s operation manual.

1 Band indicator

Shows which band the TV tuner is tuned to.

2 Preset number indicator

Shows which preset has been selected.

3 Channel indicator

Shows which channel the TV tuner is tuned.

Press SOURCE to select the TV.

Press BAND to select a band.

Press

BAND until the desired band is dis-

played,

TV1 or TV2.

To perform manual tuning, briefly press

c or d.
The channels move up or down step by step.

To perform seek tuning, press and hold

c or d for about one second and release.
The tuner will scan the channels until a broad-
cast strong enough for good reception is
found.

# You can cancel seek tuning by briefly pressing
c or d.
# If you press and hold c or d you can skip
broadcasting channels. Seek tuning starts as
soon as you release the button.
