Care For Your Workstation
Cleaning The Cooling Fan Filter
Your workstation has a filtered intake fan providing ventilation for internal
components. After using your workstation for a period of time dust and lint
may accumulate on the filter and block air flow. Follow these steps to clean
the fan filter:
1. Remove the filter cover by pinching the top and bottom sides of the
plastic filter cover as shown in Figure 3.9 and gently pull it away from the
chassis.
2. Take out the filter and clean it by rinsing it under cold water.
3. Let the filter dry and then reinstall the filter and the cover plate.
