Setting the sensitivity of station
seek tuning

You can choose whether the system
should only tune into stations with a
strong reception or whether it can also
tune into those with a weak reception.

Press the TUNER button

The radio functions menu appears in the
display.

Press the NEXT button

the “FM” display item (if you want
to set the FM search sensitivity) or
the “AM” display item (if you want
to set the AM search sensitivity).

The display shows the currently set val-
ue for the search sensitivity. “SENS 6”
is the highest search sensitivity setting
and means the tuner can receive dis-
tant stations. “SENS 1” is the lowest
setting.

Move the joystick

up/right or

down/left to adjust the search sen-
sitivity.

Press the joystick OK

or the

MENU button

to close the

menu.

The settings are saved.

Storing stations (only in static
radio mode)

Storing stations manually

Select the required FM memory
bank, i.e. FM1, FM2, FM3, FMT, or
one of the MW, LW or SW wave-
bands.

Tune into the required station as
described in the section entitled
“Tuning into a station”.

Press one of the six softkeys for
longer than two seconds to store
the station on that softkey.

Storing stations automatically
(Travelstore - only in static radio
mode)

You can automatically store the six sta-
tions with the strongest reception in the
region (only FM). The stations are stored
in the FMT memory bank.

Note:

Any stations that were previously
stored in this memory bank are de-
leted in the process.

Starting the Travelstore function

Press the TUNER button
