4.6.2. Overheating protection
The heater is equipped with an overheating protector (THERM). It prevents overheating in case the
temperature regulator fails. The reset button of the overheating protector is located on the heater rear panel.
Before resetting identify the cause of the malfunction.

4.7. Maintenance

The electrical systems of the heater may only be serviced by a professional electrician! When parts are
replaced, only authorized components approved by the manufacturer may be used. If you have any problems
or questions during the warranty period, please contact the manufacturer before performing repairs. You may
change the stones and clean the heater's exterior yourself. Use a mild dish washing liquid solution and soft
cloth to clean the heater mantle – dry after cleaning. Use gloves to protect your hands during servicing and
cleaning.

5. OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS (may only be activated by a qualified electrician!)

5.1. Electric heating cycles and external indicator lamp

The connectors 19-21 carry a voltage of 12 VDC when the heater is active. This voltage information may be
used for switching the house’s electric heating system or an external indicator lamp (max. 100 mA).

The 6, 8 and 10 kW heaters have connector 5 and 6. A 230 VAC control voltage is always supplied from
terminal 6 when the heating elements are on. If this function is used for an indicator lamp, please note that the
indicator lamp does not necessarily mean that the timer is activated. It merely indicates that the heating
elements are on.
