If all the connection are ok but there are not feed leds on
the BMS, replace the BMS.

If the feed connections and feed leds are ok, but the Can
Bus leds are OFF, check the Can Bus connections (page
Y6 of the wiring diagrams).

9 – Battery charger works good, but the battery level indi-
cated on the display remain “zero”.

Wrench icon appears on the display?

If yes go to step 10, if no go to step 17.

Figure 6-66.

10 – Wrench icon appears on the display.

Check the trouble codes, pushing button N° 6 (service),
then N° 3 (errors), then number 1 (previous).

Is “80” the trouble code on inverter?

If yes go to step 11, if no go to step 14.

11 – Inverter trouble code is number “80”.

Check fuse F4, then check the electric line of the F4 fuse.
(page Y4 of the wiring diagram).

If the F4 and its line are ok, check F160 fuse, then check if
fuse F160 48 Volt to the ground.

Has fuse F160 48 Volt? If yes go to step 12, if no go to
step 13.

12 – Fuse 160 A has 48 Volt.

Check the Inverter connections (page Y4 of the wiring dia-
gram).

13 – Fuse 160 A has not 48 Volt.

If Fuse 160 A is not fed, BMS can be OFF, so the internal
contactor is OFF too.

Go to step 7, if everything is ok, check the internal contac-
tor (pages Y8 and Y9 of the wiring diagram).

14 – Inverter trouble code is not number “80”.

Is there code number 74 on the inverter?

If yes go to step 15, if no go to step 16.

15 – There is code number “74” on the inverter.

Check the connections from the inverter to the “MR”
(page Y4 of the wiring diagram), then check the MR coil.

16 – Check the inverter trouble code, then look for its
meaning on the Service Manual

17 – Wrench icon doesn’t appear on the display.

Check fuse F1, then check if the relay coils of R1 and R4
have 12 volt with the key switch on (page Y1 of the wiring
diagram).

Are the coils fed? If yes go to step 18, if no go to step 19.

18 – Coils of R1 and R4 are not fed with the key switch on.

Check the connections from 12 Volt lead battery to R1 and
R4 coils, then check pin A30 and A29 of the ECM 1-2
(page Y1 of the wiring diagram).

19 – Coils of R1 and R4 are fed.

Check relay R4, then check the connection from wire GR/
R of R4 to pin N° 2 of “5 ways BMS connector” (page Y5 of
the wiring diagram).

If the failure remain, go to step 7.
