MEANING OF THE VOICES

Meaning of the voices showed on the Rahmino Lithium
page:

First Group:

Figure 6-99.

Voltage (V): It is the total level of the cells voltage.

Because the cells are connected in series, it is the total
pack voltage considering the 15 cells.

The min voltage for every cell is 2800 mV, while the maxi-
mum voltage is 3600 mV (average value).

According with the data the following table shows the
range of admissible voltages we can find.

NOTE: When the cell are not under charge or under discharge for

some time, the physically try to reach a nominal value of
circa 3300 Volt, it doesn’t matter their charge status. The
meaning is that if we check the “Voltage (V)” voice on a
machine that is not working or that is not under charge,
the voltage value is about 49,5 Volt on 48 Volt battery
pack (3,3 X 15), and about 72,6 on 72 Volt battery pack
(3,3 X 22).

To check the real minimum value, the battery pack has to
be under discharge, so we should move, at least for some
seconds, for example an arm or a stabilizer (or more), so
the cells have a voltage drop and the data value is real.

To check the maximum value the battery pack has to be
under charge, so the (110-220V plug) has to be con-
nected to the local network for at least 5 minutes.

DMCC (A):It is the current the BMS required from the bat-
tery charger.

This value depends on the cells status and on the charg-
ing status.

When the machine is not under charge, the current
request is always the maximum possible, details are listed
in the following table:

The reason of these differences are described on the
paragraph 7,2 “charging process”.

The flashing code of the charger led is directly related to
the DMCC value. More detail are described on paragraph
9 "battery charger”.

In the beginning of the charging process, BMS requires
the maximum possible current to the battery charger,
independently from the cells voltage.

After some seconds if a cell voltage is already 3630 mV,
the current required is decreasing according with a series
of parameters (state of the other cells, temperature, cur-
rent absorbed, etc..).
