Smoothing is selectable as ON or OFF and provides a smooth transition ramp from one level to
another in a similar way to how an incandescent lamp behaves. This helps to eliminate the
“steppiness”  associated  with  LED  fixtures  that  is  caused  by  the  instantaneous  response  of  LEDs.  
Turning smoothing off allows the LEDs to react instantly for strobe-like and lightning effects.
