possible cause: Power Options have been disabled.
solution: Go to the Control Panel in Windows and re-ena-
ble the options.
possible cause: A peripheral device or PC card is consuming a
lot of power.
solution: Turn off the unused device to save power.
possible cause: Previously the battery was given only a partial
charge.
solution: Always fully charge the battery after it has been
totally used up.
