Port Replicator Module
If you have included the Port Replicator in your purchase
option, the device will allow you to easily attach the note-
book to standard, non-portable devices e.g. a printer or
monitor. Note the sidebar warning on the power sup-
ply. You will be provided with a CD including drivers for
the serial (COM) port, and for the network (LAN) jack.

1. Turn the computer OFF.
2. Attach the Port Replicator’s external monitor cable to the
external monitor port on the right of the computer.
3. Attach the Port Replicator’s power cable to the DC-In jack
on the rear of the computer.
4. Attach the Port Replicator’s (90W) AC/DC adapter unit
to the DC-In jack on the left side of the Port Replicator
(see warning below).
5. Turn ON the computer.
6. Install the serial and LAN port drivers (see page 33 ).
7. Plug in any devices you require into the appropriate Port
Replicator port/jack.

Port Replicator AC/DC Adapter
You will be provided with a 90W AC/DC adapter if you pur-
chase the port replicator option.
If you are using the computer with the Port Replicator, then you
must use the 90W AC/DC adapter to power the port replica-
tor and computer (DO NOT USE the computer’s AC/DC
adapter to power the Port Replicator).
