Problem Possible Cause - Solution
The DVD regional codes
can no longer be
changed. The code has been changed the maximum 5 times. See “Changing DVD Regional Codes” on
page 17 .
The Wireless LAN/
Bluetooth modules
cannot be detected. The modules are off. Check the LED indicator to see if the WLAN/Bluetooth module is on or
off (see “LED Indicators” on page 10 ). If the LED indicator is off, then press the Fn + F11
(WLAN) or Fn + F12 (Bluetooth) key combination(s) in order to enable the modules (see
Table 3, on page 12 ).
The PC Camera module
cannot be detected. The module is off. Press the Fn + F10 key combination in order to enable the module (see
Table 3, on page 12 ). Run the BisonCap program to view the camera picture.
The system and/or
application(s) are
experiencing slow
downs/general
problems. The memory allocation for use by the NVIDIA integrated graphic system may be set too high if
your computer has 256MB of system memory on board.
Use the Advanced menu in the BIOS to set the amount of system memory for use by the NVIDIA
integrated graphic system to the default setting of 32MB if you have 256MB of system memory
on board.
1. Restart the computer and press F2 at startup to enter the BIOS Setup.
2. Use the cursor keys to move to and select the Advanced menu.
3. Use the cursor keys to move to and select the Frame buffer size menu.
4. Press Enter to change the setting to 32MB.
5. Press F10 to save and exit the BIOS Setup.
