Setting up

The

T/P (T=TONE, P=PULSE)

selector

on the side of the DF60 main unit
must also be switched to the setting you

have selected on the display. This will ensure that
calls can still be made during power failure.

9 Setting the dial mode

Your DF60 has two dialling modes:

TONE

and

PULSE

, it is pre-set to

TONE

. This will be the

correct setting for all direct lines and most
switchboards, however for some switchboards
it may need to be set to

PULSE

.

To set the Dial mode:

Press the FUNCTION button until

SET

OPTIONS?

appears.

Press the YES button and the display shows:

DIAL MODE?

Press the YES button, display shows:

DIAL MODE: TONE?

Press the NO button to change from

TONE

to

PULSE

.

If you are in doubt about the right setting for you,

contact your communications manager.

When the display shows the dialling mode
that is right for you press the YES button,
you will hear a tone confirming your
selection.

Press the STOP button to return to standby.
