Problem:

When I try to start the HOMEView software the following error pops up.








This is caused by Windows “User Accounts” setting stopping the software from loading.
Follow the instructions in Step #3 of this guide. This will walk you through the steps
needed to configure windows for the HOMEView system.


Problem:
When I when I click OK in the IP Search window one of the following error messages
appear.











Any of these error messages may occur if you do not list a User Name and Password
for each camera in the IP Search window as detailed in Step #6 of the quick start guide -
Setting Up Cameras. Follow the procedures detailed in the quick start guide Step #6
exactly as they are listed. This will correct the problem. The cameras will not operate
properly without the user name and password loaded for each camera.
