Getting to know your phone

Inverse black and white display
Backlight comes on when a button is pressed, when
you slide the keypad open and when receiving an
incoming call.
Option button (right)
In standby mode, press to play answer machine messages.
In talk mode, press to switch secrecy on/off, page 17.
In menu mode, press to confirm a displayed option.
Redial/Pause
In standby mode, press to open the redial list, page 19.
In talk and entry mode, press to insert a pause in a
number, pages 22 & 91.
End call/ Delete/Keypad lock
In standby mode, use to lock the keypad, page 21.
In talk mode, press to end a call, page 16.
In entry mode, press to delete digits.
In menu mode, press and hold to exit and
return to standby page 14.
Menu/Volume –/Scroll down
In standby mode, press to access the menu, page 14.
In talk mode, press to decrease the handset
receiver volume, page 17.
Use to scroll down through menu options,
phonebook entries and the Calls list.
Keypad
Use to enter digits and characters.

In standby or talk mode, press to
open the Phonebook, page 22.
Option button (left)
In standby or talk mode, when the icon is
displayed, press to open the Calls list, page 50.
In menu mode, press to go back to the previous screen.
Press repeatedly to exit to standby mode.
Menu/Volume +/Scroll up
In standby mode, press to access the menu, page 14.
In talk mode, press to increase the handset
receiver volume, page 17.
Use to scroll up through menu options,
phonebook entries and the Calls list.
OK button
In standby mode, press to access the
menu system, page 15.
While viewing the redial list, Calls list,
phonebook list or pre-dial number press to
automatically dial out the displayed number.
Talk/Handsfree
In standby mode, press to make
or receive calls, page 16.
In talk mode, use to switch handsfree
on and off, page 18.
Int (Intercom)/Recall/Call Waiting
In standby mode, use to make an
internal call, page 77.
In talk mode, press and hold for recall.
For use with a switchboard/PBX and
BT Calling Features.
