ASSEMBLY

Caution: Never operate the SilentCrusher M with dispersion tool when the disper-
sion tool is not immersed in fluid. Operating the device dry will destroy the PTFE
bearing (AA, see Chapter 0) and the
rotor (BB, see Chapter 0).

1. Set up Stand (if ordered as an option)

Screw the stand rod (A) into the stand plate (B). Using the wrench (C) (included) tighten stand
rod (A) on the level areas (D).

Place the sleeve coupling (E) over the stand rod (A) and tighten it with set screw 1 (F).

2. Mount Drive Unit

Insert the retainer rod (G) for the drive unit into the hole in the upper sleeve coupling (E) and
tighten with the set screw 2 (H).

3. Mount Vessel with Vessel Retainer (if ordered as an option)

The vessel retainer comes with 2 retainer rings (I and J). Select the right size for your vessel.

Size

For Vessel Diameter [mm]

I (small) 20 - 60
J (large) 60 - 105

Insert the vessel retainer (I or J) with the retainer rod (G) into the hole in the sleeve coupling (E)
and tighten with the set screw 2 (H). Loosen the knurled screw 3 (L) and pull the retainer ring (I
or J) forward. Insert the vessel (M) from above, or if the shape of the vessel requires it, from the
bottom.
Then press the retainer ring downward as shown (support the sleeve coupling (E) with your in-
dex finger while doing this) and tighten the knurled screw (L). The vessel is now mounted.
