Loosen the set screw (P) and pull the dispersion tool (N) downward. Insert a new dispersion tool
and re-secure with the set screw (P). An elastomer O ring (QQ)
inserted in opening (O) provides a secure fit, without play, for the dispersion tool.

Sealed Dispersion Tool (2)
Loosen the set screw (P) and screw the dispersion tool (N) counterclockwise out of the opening
and pull downward. Insert a new tool up to the stop and screw in clockwise. Then re-secure with
the set screw (P).

If you switch from a sealed to an unsealed dispersion tool or vice versa, the drive
unit must be converted. See Installation, Chapter 5.

11. Length of Operation

The drive unit and dispersion tool are not designed for constant operation. In particular, the
PTFE bearing (AA) could be damaged by the high rotational speeds of 26000 rpm.

Keep dispersing time at a minimum, to save the PTFE bearing.

The maximum operation time is dependent on the heating-up of the drive (as
consequence of load on the tool).
Operation time after first dispersion process is a minimum of 30 minutes. For
subsequent dispersion processes, operation time can be shortened according to
the heating-up of the device. Longer pauses in operation lead to longer operation
times.
With sealed dispersion tools slightly reduced operation times have
to be considered.
Times reported here are related to water as dispersing liquid at an ambient tem-
perature of 22°C.
