To stop a document being scanned

• Remove any unscanned sheets from the

document feeder tray.

• Press the

STOP

button.

To stop a document being sent

During transmission:

• Press the

STOP

button. Display shows

CANCEL=0. INTERRUPT=1

.

Either
• Press

1

to postpone the current transmission

and return to standby. The document will
automatically be re-sent after 1 minute.

Or
• Press

0

. Display shows the current session

number

DELETE SESS=xxx. PRESS ENTER

.

• Press the

ENTER

button to delete the

information or press the

STOP

button to exit

and retain the information. Display shows

MEMORY TX. USER STOP

and then returns to

standby.

• An error report is printed confirming the

transmission has been cancelled. This
setting can be switched off. (See page38.)

Using the BF900

To delete a batch dial

• Follow the stops shown under ‘To set up a

batch dial’

above and put in a START TIME

of 00:00.

• Press the

ENTER

button to confirm.

Delayed sending

You can store a document in the memory and
set a time for it to be sent later.

• Load the document.
• Select the

RESOLUTION

,

TYPE ORG

and

PHOTO

settings if required.

• Press the

FUNCTION

button. Display shows

FUNCTION MODE 0~9,#,*,<,>

• Press

• Press the

ENTER

• Set the time you want the fax to be sent

using the 24-hour clock e.g., 8.15am=

and 6.30pm=

. If you set an earlier time

than the present, the fax will be sent the
next day.

• Press the

ENTER

DELAY TX. SEL. LOC/START

• Enter the number – you can use the keypad,

One-Touch button, Group Dial button or
Speed Dial code. Display shows

TEL=(NO)

PRESS START

• Press the

START

button. The document is

scanned and the display returns to standby.
