Using the BF900

Copying

You can make up to 99 laser quality copies of
an original document.

Sorted or stacked copies

• STACK COPIES prints documents in page

order, for example 111, 222, 333, 444, 555,

• SORTER COPIES collates the document, for

example; 12345, 12345, 12345.

To copy a document

Load up to 30 pages in the document feeder.

• Place the document to be copied face down.

The first page is drawn a little way into the
machine. Display shows

SELECT LOC/COPY

.

• Select the

RESOLUTION

,

TYPE ORG

and

PHOTO

settings you want to ensure the best quality
printing from your original. (See page 27.)

• Press the

COPY

button.

• Press the

COPY

button again to select

printing either in page order STACK COPIES
or collated SORTER COPIES.

• Use the keypad to set the number of copies

you want.

• Press the

START

button. Display shows

SCANNING

.

• The document will then be printed out.

The display will show

PRINTING

.

Storing numbers

Using the one-touch buttons to enter names

When prompted by the display, you can enter
up to 10 characters for names stored in the
directory.

To enter the letters, use the alphabet characters
located on the one-touch buttons.

If you make a mistake, use the

buttons

to move the cursor along the display. When it is
under a letter it flashes and you can change it.

COPY

START

When entering names
Press the

button to change between capital and

lower case letters.
Press the
button to if you need to insert special
characters.

If you pause for more than one minute between
button presses, your BF900 will automatically
revert to standby and any changes you have made
will NOT be saved.
