To save incoming documents into the

memory.

You can set your BF900 to save received faxes
in the memory and protect them with a 4-digit
password. To print, you must enter the correct
password.

To set your BF900 to receive to memory.

• Press the

Security features

To set/change Dept ID’s, mailbox passwords

and passwords to access documents saved

in the memory.

You can change mailbox passwords and
Department ID’s which have already been set
by following the special procedures shown here.

You can also use these steps to enter a
password that will let you save incoming faxes
direct the memory without printing, in order to
keep them confidential. You must then use this
password to access the documents for printing.

STOP

button until the display

returns to standby.

• Turn the power switch off and wait a few

seconds. The switch your BF900 back on
again. The new password, mailbox or
Department ID is set.
