Creating a new connection via the connection wizard

connection to create

The Thin Client supports the "Microsoft Remote Desktop Client".
The "New Connection" window can thus be simply confirmed with
[OK].

[OK]

Change to the next dialog of the connection wizard.

WTS Connection
Wizard (Dialog 1)

Name

Enter name of the connection.

Server

Enter network name or IP address of the server to which a
connection is to be established.

[< Back]/[Next >]

Change to the previous/next dialog of the connection wizard.

Wizard (Dialog 2)

Desktop

If selected, the desktop configured on the server is displayed after
logon on the server. A prerequisite for this is the access
authorisation to the server.

Application file
name

If selected, after logon on the server an application is started.
"Application file name" field: Application.exe
"Working directory" field: Directory path of the exe file (e.g.
c:\programs)
Only this application is started; the user has neither access to the
Windows taskbar nor to the desktop.
A prerequisite for this is the access authorisation to the server.
The automatic start of programs during logon on the server can
also be established directly on the server via the user accounts. In
this case the settings carried out here are disregarded.
