When there is a password, SMS command has following structure: Password:cmd1;cmd2;cmd3;…;cmdn

 Cmd1, cmd2, cmd3 to Cmdn, which are command identification number 0000 – 9999
 A, b, c to n, which are command parameters
 The semicolon character (‘;’) is used to separate more than one commands packed in a single SMS.

5.3.2 SMS Control Steps

1. Use command Password:cmd1;cmd2;cmd3;…;cmdn or cmd1;cmd2;cmd3;…;cmdn to set new parameters.
2. After setting new parameters for M1000, remember to use 0004 command to save parameters and reset the

modem, then the new parameters will take effect.

3. In one SMS, if there is more than two cmd, remember to use punctuation “;” to divide each cmd.
Note: E.g., 1234:1001,M1000;0004
In this command, password is 1234, 1001 is the cmd to set device’s name, “M1000” is M1000’s name that we want to
set, then save parameters and reset the modem to take effect with command 0004.
