Touch Screen Interface
Setting User Preferences
The Preferences portion of the TS2 Software allows the
user to select settings which are normally set once and
rarely changed. Such preferences include image save
format and image save location. Prior to capturing images,
access the user preferences by touching the Preferences
button in the upper-left corner of the main TS2 screen. Select from the following tabs:

General Settings

Post-Processing

Saving
The following pop-up screen will appear:
General Settings Tab
Filter Names: Use the drop-down arrow to the right of the filter name (for example,
“1. Ethidium Bromide”) to view the names of the installed filters.
To change a filter name, select the desired filter from the drop-down and then touch the Edit
button. A screen will appear allowing the user to type in a new filter name. Touch OK to accept the
new name or Cancel to cancel the filter name change.
(Note: The filter number cannot be changed, as the filter number corresponds to the filter’s position
within the slide-out filter wheel.)
Language: Use the drop-down arrow to select the desired language for the TS2 software interface.
Multiple language options are available, including English (US), Chinese (simplified), Turkish,
Japanese, Korean and Russian.
