Remove the two stoppers on the outputs for the two eluent
degassers.

3 Connecting the mixing coil and eluent aspiration tubing in

the low-pressure gradient

Screw the long pressure screw for the mixing coil for the low-
pressure gradient (6.2758.020) into the eluent output (Out).

Screw a piece of aspiration tubing (6.1834.080) into the output
on each of the two eluent degassers.

Screw the mixing valve – eluent degasser connection tubing
(6.1834.120) into eluent input A.

4 Connecting the mixing coil and eluent connection tubing to

the middle plug-in

Screw the mixing valve – eluent degasser connection tubing
(6.1834.120) into the output for the eluent degasser.

Screw the short pressure screw for the mixing coil for the low-
pressure gradient (6.2758.020) into the high-pressure pump's
inlet valve holder.

Next step

Connect each of the two pieces of aspiration tubing (6.1834.080) to
an eluent bottle (see Chapter 3.7, page 22).

The instrument must be switched off when being connected to a com-
puter.
