7.2.2 Wavelength Certification
Wavelength Certification is use-d to confirm the peak positions of the instrument to a defined,
external wavelength standard.
Click on Diagnostics,
Wavelength Certification,
Run Wavelength
Certification.
The Number of Samples should be 10, as
shown.
The XC-1300 transmission wavelength
standard is a three-layer optical standard,
directly traceable to SRM-2035. This is the
same standard used for Instrument
Calibration. Select “Trans Cal Std”.
Click “OK” when ready.
When Vision requests the “Standards File”,
open the TSS3Wxxx.da file, which is provided
on the mini-CD packed with the standards.
If you have copied this file into the C:\Vision
directory, open it from there.
The XC-1300 Wavelength Calibration
Standard will have a label “WST3Wxxx”
similar to that shown.
