Connect Cylinder Rods
Start with the left side.
Refer to Figure 25
79. Select one each saved:
805-058C PIN COTTER 3/16 X 2
805-131C PIN CLVS 1.0X4.69 USBL
and two:
804-028C WASHER FLAT 1 USS PLT
Place one washer on the clevis pin .
80. Verify that the cylinder pin lock is flipped to the
inboard-facing position (as shown). If it is flipped to
the outboard position, the marker will not function
correctly.
Pinch/Crush Hazard:
The next step requires extending cylinder rods while a second
worker guides the clevis into alignment with marker section
slots. Keep hands out of the path of clevis motion.
81. Use the hydraulic power source to extend the
cylinder rod so that the clevis pin holes are
within the range of the arm slots . Capture the
clevis in the slot with the pin . Secure with second
washer and cotter pin .
82. Repeat step 79 through step 81 for the other marker
side.
