Install Second Sections
Mount Transport Bumpers
Start with the left wing.
Refer to Figure 7
21. Select one of new:
113-881H MARKER 2ND SECTION 3S-5000 LH
or
113-887H MARKER 2ND SECTION 3S-5000 RH
Orient the section so that the top (with the triangular
truss
) is down. Locate the stiffener plate just
inboard of the slotted plate on the bottom of the
arm. Rest placement is relative to plate .
The distance, from the outside edge of the rest
plates
to the inboard face of reference plate is:

inches (18 cm).
22. Select two new:
411-269D SECONDARY REST
four new:
806-132C U-BOLT 3/8-16 X 3 1/32 X 2 3/4
and eight sets new:
804-013C WASHER LOCK SPRING 3/8 PLT
803-014C NUT HEX 3/8-16 PLT
Position each rest plate inside the arm tubes,
approximately per distance
. Loosely secure to the
arms with U-bolts , lock washers and
nuts .
23. Adjust each rest plate to the specified offset
distance . Secure the nuts.
24. Select one each new:
113-899D TRANSPORT BUMPER
802-416C HHCS 1/2-13X10 GR5
804-015C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/2 PLT
803-020C NUT HEX 1/2-13 PLT
Position the bumper between the rest plates .
Insert the bolt . Check fit (see note at right).
Add the lock washer and nut . Secure to
Grade 2 torque spec.

Note: The bumper should just fit between the rest
plates . If it does not fit, or there is more than
1 ⁄
16
inch (1.6 mm) excess clearance, chances are
the plates are not at the correct location. Re-check
step 23.
