Playing CDs with the LIST function
1 Click FUNCTION in the main menu.
The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.

Click the ♦ or ♦ icons to see the next or previous
10 discs, then click the disc. Playback starts
automatically.
When a Sony CD changer equipped with a CTRL
A1 jack is connected, the disc capacity shown on
screen changes automatically in accordance with
the capacity of the CD changer.
To Locate a specific disc
Click SEARCH, the CD LIST - SEARCH screen
appears.

To display the discs in a certain group.
Click GROUP NAME, then click the name of
the group in which the CD is located.
The CD list for that group is displayed. Click
the ♦ or ♦ icons to display disc , then click the
disc. Playback starts automatically
To display the discs in alphabetical order.
Click ALPHABET, after a few seconds, discs
are dispLaved in alphabetical order.
Click the ♦ or ♦ icons to display disc , then
click the disc. Playback starts automatically
To display the discs in nunieric order.
Click DISC NUMBER, after a few seconds,
discs are displayed in numeric order.
Click the ♦ or 4 icons to display disc , then
click the disc. Playback starts automatically
Notes
• Depending on the type of CD changer connected (3 or 5
disc changer, etc), you may not be able to select the CD
even by clicking the disc name. In this case, select the CD
from the normal CD control panel.
• If the CD changer is made by another manufacturer, and
the sequence of operations required to start playback is
other than; © pressing a numeric button followed by ®
pressing the disc button, then playback may not start
when you click the disc name. In this case, return to the
main menu, click SUB, and operate the CD changer
according to its normal playback procedure.
Enjoying Two Com ponents at
the Sam e Tim e
Use the procedure below to play two program sources
at the same time (for example, to play a laser disc while
listening to a compact disc).
Make sure the AUTO PLAY function is set to off (see
page 41).
1 Click FUNCTION in the main menu.
The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.
2 Click a video program source.
The control panel for the video program source
appears.
Clicks.
3 Click on FUNCTION again, then click an audio
program source.
The control panel for the audio program source
appears.
Click ►.
To stop play
Click the ■ button in each control panel.
