Adjusting the Sensitivity of the

Remote

Selecting the Display

Param eters

You can select from five different sensitivity levels that
determine the speed at which the pointer moves.

Click FUNCTION in the main menu.

The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.

Click SETUP.

Click FEELING 1 through 5 to select the

sensitivity level you desire.
The higher the number, the faster the speed.

If \’ou find it difficult to ciiange the remote commander

sensiti\'it\' because the setting is too high (i.e., 5), turn off the

unit: then turn it on while holding down the CD and

PHONO buttons on the front panel.

The remote commander sensitivity will return to the factory-

set value.

Use this procedure to select one of two display types;
NORMAL or SEE-THROUGH, and one of three
display modes: AUTO OSD ERASE, POINTER ONLY,

or DEMO.
It also allows you to switch the IR OUTPUT setting

when you use the IR repeater.

Click FUNCTION in the main menu.

The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.

Click SET UP.

Click DISPLAY NORMAL or SEE-THROUGH to

select the display type.

SEE-THROUGH

NORMAL: The display appears in the factory-set

color.
SEE-THROUGH: All menus and control panels
are transparent, with i)nly characters and outlines
visible, allowing you to see the contents of video

and laserdisc programs.

Note

Even if you ha\'e selected SHE-THROUGH, the display

changes to NORMAL when there is no \ ideo signal

being input. When a video signal is input, the display

reverts to SEE-THROUGH.

Click AUTO OSD ERASE ON or OFF, POINTER
ONLY SET or DEMO START to select the display

mode as necessary.
If necessary, dick IR OUTPUT ON or OFF.
