Rip Fence
The fence should slide easily along the guide bars and
alw ays
rem ain
in
alignm ent
{parallel
to
saw blads
and
m iter gauge grooves)
The alignm ent is m aintained by a spring underneath the
fence w hich bears against the front guide bar
To m ove the fence, loosen the lock handle and grasp the
fence w ith one hand at the front
For very close adjustm ents, grasp the guide bar w ith both
hands and m ove the fence w ith your thum bs

1 Place fence on saw but do not lock it
2, M ove the rear end of the fence slightly to the right or
left, W hen you release it, the fence should “spring"
back fo its original position
3 If it does not, the spring pressure m ust be increased,
