Viewfinder Information

The Canon AT-1 is a camera offering full

aperture metering with FD lenses where the

aperture needle is coupled to the shutter

speed, aperture and film's sensitivity when FD

lenses are used. Furthermore, when using

Canon FL lenses on the AT-1, the exposure

reading is performed with stopped-down

metering.

The Central Emphasis Metering method

of exposure measurement is used in the AT-1
to deliver the optimum exposure to the main

subject without being affected by the bright
sky in the upper part of the picture area.
