Remote control signal reception:
Reception of the remote control signal is indicated by
the red-eye reduction lamp blinking 4 times a second
(or remaining lit when red-eye reduction is used) and
a countdown displayed on the LCD panel.
o • Shooting with remote control may not be
possible if the remote control sensor on the
camera is exposed to sunlight or strong
fluorescent light. If this happens, use the self-
timer to take the picture or move the camera
to another location.
• The camera’s remote control function may not
operate correctly if the camera is close to a
fluorescent light during signal reception. If this
happens, move the camera away from the
fluorescent light.
m • Remote control shots can be taken for the 4
minutes that is displayed.
• Set the camera on a steady surface or use a
tripod.
