• Fill-in Fiash For Bright Outdoor Scenes
This is a method for using flash when shooting in dayiight. Use the flash
as a supplementary light source to soften shadows created by the sun, or
to prevent subjects from appearing dark due to being backlit.
When using the 540EZ to shoot a backlit subject in daylight with the camera in a
fully automatic mode, the flash output level is automatically reduced to prevent an
unnatural imbalance between the flash-lit subject and the naturally-lit back
ground.
