Zooming
Zoom in on hard-to-catch subjects or add
close-up personal touches to your recordings.
Zoom out to reveal a breathtahJng view. The
camera has 3 zooming methods: power zoom,
manual zoom and wireless zoom.
Power Zoom

Press power zoom buttons on the grip.
Press and hold T to gradually zoom in to
telephoto.
Press and hold W to gradually zoom out to wide
angle.
Manual Zoom

Turn zooming lever to rotate zooming ring.
Wireless Zoom 4o-c
The wireless controller allows you to control
zoom operation from a distance.
Press and hold ZOOM T button to gradually
zoom in to telephoto.
Press and hold ZOOM W button to gradually
zoom out to wide angle.
• Mount camera on a tripod.
• Use a TV monitor during wireless zooming to
view shots.
Notes:
• Even the slightest hand movement will appear in
the recording when shooting in the teiephoto
range. Use a tripod for better resuits.
• Overuse of zooming may make recordings seem
too busy. Seiective use of zooming is more
effective.
