Focusing

The camera has three focus modes as shown below. Each time the FOCUS
button is pressed, the selected mode changes as shown below.

Camera ON

Autofocus

When you turn the camera on, autofocus mode is selected automatically. In

autofocus mode, the camera alignes the subject in the centre of the focus
zone in the viewfinder. Autofocus is effective for a subject at least 0.6 m

away from the camera.

Auto Tracking Focus

The camera automatically keeps track of the subject in the centre of the auto
tracking focus zone (ATF zone) in the viewfinder. Auto tracking focus is

effective for subjects at least 0.6 metres away from the camera.

Manual Focus

Adjust the focusing ring to focus on the subject.
Use manual focus when you shoot subjects not suitable for autofocus.
