Before You Start
Installing the Batteries
^ Batteries are not included in camera body only (not kit) sold in North America. Obtain
batteries separately.
The camera uses two CR2 lithium batteries.
Open the battery compartment cover.
• Slide the release lever in the direction
shown by the arrow in the diagram, and
open the cover.
I Install the batteries.
I • Make sure the battery contacts (+ and ~)
are properly oriented as shown.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.

Close the battery compartment cover.
• Press the cover until it snaps shut.
• The date and time must be set See
