2) Use the or buttons to set the weight of the
defrosting goods. The display will start with “100g”. You can set the
weight between 100 and 2000g.
3) Start defrosting by pressing START.
4) When the end of the defrosting time has been reached, the system will
sound five signal tones.
13.15.2 Mode “Defrosting” by time
1) Press WEIGHT/TIME DEFROST twice, the display will show “d-2”.
2) Use the or buttons to set the defrosting time to a
maximum of 95 minutes.
3) Start defrosting by pressing START.
4) When the end of the defrosting time has been reached, the system will
sound signal tones.
13.16 Function display
1) If during cooking you press CLOCK/KITCHEN TIMER the set time
is displayed.
2) If during cooking you press MICROWAVE, GRILL/COMBI. or
CONVECTION the current power level is displayed.
14 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and maintaining
the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device
incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.
14.1 Safety information
Attention
Please observe the following safety notices, before you commence with cleaning the
device:
► The oven must be cleaned and food residues must be removed at regular intervals. If
the oven is not maintained in a clean condition, this will have a detrimental effect on the
service life of the device and can also result in a dangerous condition in the device as
well as in the growth of fungus and bacteria.
► Switch the oven off prior to cleaning it and unplug the plug from the wall power outlet.
► The cooking chamber is hot after it is used. There is a danger of burns! Wait until the
device has cooled down.
